Grant G. Keppel, CPA, is the National Director of Cost Segregation Services for Cost Segregation Partners. Grant is a nationally renown Cost Segregation practitioner with over 20 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant and a consultant in the Real Estate industry. Over the last five years, he has developed, and is responsible for, over 3,000 cost segregation consulting projects for new
and existing clients.

Grant has led the Cost Segregation team’s marketing efforts, which include national seminars for various state CPA societies, AICPA, individual CPA practices nationwide, as well as attorneys, architects and bankers. His expertise in cost segregation studies encompasses industries such as hotels/motels, shopping centers/strip plazas, fast
food and other restaurants, as well as the manufacturing, healthcare, automobile and food processing industries.

Grant is active in training and assisting CPA practices nationwide in establishing the cost segregation niche for their practice groups, and has worked with over 100 CPA firms to provide cost segregation services to their clients, 11 of which firms are in theTop 100 Accounting Firms in the U.S. (as published by the PublicAccounting Report). He is a nationally recognized speaker in the cost segregation service niche, and authored the book, “Real Estate Cost Segregation: A Practitioners Guide” published by Thomson (RIA) in November 2006. He has also written several articles about cost segregation and its positive impacts, most notably in Hotel Journal, Practical Accountant, SMB Finance, Nation’s Restaurant News, The Leading Edge Alliance of CPA Firms Magazine, The Secured Lender and the Western New York Real Estate Journal.

During his professional career, Grant has obtained a diverse background in all facets of the tax environment, including individual, fiduciary and corporate taxation. In addition, he has specialized in state and local taxation for companies involved in multi-state activities involving planning and research in the income/franchise and sales/use tax areas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Buffalo Chapter of the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants.
