Charles A. Battaglia is a Construction Engineering Specialist in the Engineering department of Cost Segregation Partners. He provides analysis of sites and facilities to locate and quantify all building and process equipment assets within them. His duties include in depth analysis of blueprints, site plans, surveys, specifications and process systems to determine asset costs required by tax specialists in assigning their classification.

His 25 years in engineering and construction enable Mr. Battaglia to understand and assess buildings from the ground-up through the systems needed for daily operations, including specific building provisions for manufacturing processes. He possesses extensive estimating knowledge in field activities, construction and project engineering as well as utility requirements.

In addition to estimating, Mr. Battaglia is also experienced as:

•  Facility Engineer in manufacturing.  This experience included project management for construction of new buildings, expansions and renovations for industrial processes.  He has experience in all related fields including but not limited to electrical, mechanical and environmental.

•  Development of Engineering Departments for large manufacturing organizations.  Producing viable processes that include the design and implementation of working assets, thus providing a profitable basis for the companies.

•  Implemented programs for lock out tag out, Confined space, Hazardous Chemical Awareness (MSDS) and Personnel Protection Equipment (PPE). 

•  Directed issues regarding reporting regulations for Sara Title III, Tier II and Community Right to know. 

•  Developed guidelines for Evacuation plans (EGRESS), EPA and DEC reporting. 

•  Post 9/11 worked with the ten most vulnerable industries in the region. Invited to participate in meetings between Facility Engineers, Home Land Security and Emergency Coordinators in regards to terrorism and how it relates to the Community and their Industries. 

•  Involved with the State University At Buffalo, Engineering School. Implemented internship program utilizing 3rd and 4th year Engineering students.  This program aided in the development of their technical skills prior to seeking full time employment.
